| Sept. 2007 – up to date Road to Mandalay – Orient Express, Myanmar, Asia Luxury river cruise – Capacity of 108 guests Assistant Hotel Manager Assist the hotel manager in all the daily charges. In charge of any guest enquiry, rooms checks, creation of menus, the massages (SPA), wine order & stock. Organise the groups and charters. Responsible of a 80 persons crew. Organisation & communication between logistic team and the ship. Training of the different departments. Collect funds for social programs & follow up of the projects. Make the financials reports at the end of each cruise. July 2005 – August 2007 Hesperia Lanzarote 5*, Canaries Island, Spain Five Star Hotel, 335 Rooms Total Quality Manager I started to have a formation with the General Manager. In September 2005 I started has a Quality Manager, my responsibilities included: • Implement & adapt the internals procedures, registers & standards of the Hesperia Chain to the daily operation of the hotel. • Implement & verify the application of the HACCP procedures. • Process & register all the questionnaires fulfil by our guests moreover I inform all the departments of the complaints & congratulations. Respond to the guest’s requests. In April 2006, they offered me to manage as well the entertainment in the hotel, which consist of children & adult activities & night entertainment. In June I did the opening of a new snack bar, and took the full responsibility of it. In general I was responsible for a team of 4 to 12 people. From September 2005 to February 2007, I have realized a cross training in the Food & Beverage Dept. From March 2007, I started an intensive training in Rooms Division Dept.. I take in charge the departments of Human Resources and the SPA & Wellness Centre when requested. December 2003 – May 2004 Camino Real 5*, Cancun, Mexico Groups & Conventions Assistant and Sales & Marketing I have realized an internship of 6 month in the Camino Real hotel, which permit me to have a global view on the Sales & Marketing department. Meantime I assisted the Convention manager. This internship taught me how to deal with the organization of the different aspects of the departments. Moreover it permits me to progress in my understanding of the structure & management. June – December 2002 Hyatt Regency La Manga Club, Murcia, Spain Full time servers I have work as a waitress during 6 month in a typical Spanish Restaurant; my day to day work was to: make the mise en place of the restaurant, control the beverages, make the stock orders, do the monthly inventory, cashier, & meet the expectation of our guest. I have learned how to treat our guests of different cultures and to work under stress. |
